Samsung has released a new Samsung Gear headset with built-in virtual reality.
The headset, which is available for purchase on the company’s website, is designed to be used in tandem with the Samsung Gear S5 smartphone, which has the Samsung Virtual Reality headset built-into the device.
It can be used for a variety of VR-related tasks, such as watching videos, navigating menus and browsing websites.
The new Samsung VR headset has been designed to work with a variety toggling, and a number of third-party VR apps that provide full-body, head-tracking support.
It’s also compatible with Gear VR headsets, and works on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Note 5s smartphones, and the Samsung S7 and S7 Edge smartphones.
It supports positional tracking, and allows users to see a 3D map of their surroundings, while allowing them to hear music, and use voice commands to access the Gear VR apps.
For some VR-specific applications, the Gear S6 headset can also be used with GearVR headsets.
Samsung also plans to launch a series of new Samsung headsets with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, with more coming in the future.
It is also looking to add support for more third-parties to its VR platform.
