It looks like the PS4 has found a way to get a little extra out of its big brother, and the Xbox One’s controller will also be bundled as an extension cable.
The cable, which was released by Amazon and will go for $39.99, is designed to work with the new Xbox One wireless controller, allowing the console to play audio and video content over a cable, as well as HDMI output for games and other Blu-ray players.
The extension cable is designed specifically for the Xbox 720, which comes with a built-in HDMI output.
The Xbox 720 controller is not compatible with the Xbox controller included with the PS3 or PS4, though, so it’s probably best to get the controller with the cable if you want to use the PS controller to play games.
The PlayStation 4 controller can also be used to connect to the PS Vita, PS3 and PS2 controllers.
The cord has a USB-C connector, but we don’t know if that’s the same USB-A port that’s included in the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers, which also has an HDMI input.
The PS4 controller is currently available at Amazon for $399.99.
The controller is also compatible with PlayStation’s PS Camera, which lets you snap photos and videos from your smartphone to your TV.
